Brookdale Community College student, Sarah Sakowski, Vice President of Scholarships of Phi Theta Kappa, announced they have selected Turner Syndrome Foundation as its project for 2010-11. TSF participation will help fulfill an intensive exploration of the Honors Study Topic, The Democratization of Information: The Power, Peril and Promise.

Mission statement:
"The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two year college students. To achieve this purpose Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intercultural climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence."
